About Zeus Engineering
Early in 1989 Zeus were commissioned to design and manufacture a Disc Brake Kit for the London Taxi Cab (Fairways). Zeus were also aware of the need for improved braking power for the Classic car sector and went on to redevelop the calliper for Classic Jaguar and other classic vehicles. In parallel, Zeus developed it's successful series Land Rover and 101 disc brake conversions.
Based at Dunkeswell airfield in Devon the company manufactures its products on site along with its sister company Ashwater, which produces chrome components for the classic car sector.
A family owned and operated company, Zeus is staffed by a dedicated team of engineers and craftsmen. Managing Director, Mark Cartwright completed an engineering apprenticeship at Rolls Royce Motors and went on to complete a full time degree in Production and Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, working in engineering manufacturing in the UK, Europe and North America, Mark spent several years in consultancy with Price Waterhouse.
Since acquiring Zeus Mark has overseen the re-development and expansion of the classic caliper range and the new additions to the series Landrover braking systems. The company is currently working on several new projects in the classic car sector and continues to add new products to its range.

A British engineering manufacturing company, Zeus specialises in replacement braking systems for the classic car sector and the classic Land Rover market. This year sees Zeus celebrate its 30th anniversary, something of a milestone and next year sees Ashwater reach its 40th.
As we welcome the next generation of the family into the companies we look forward to the challenges for the future. We are determined to continue developing new products and improving our engineering performance. Having made changes to improve our green credentials, we continue to invest in new technologies. Most of all we are proud that the products that leave us are actually made by us. We know our customers appreciate this and we appreciate both their custom and support. The final word however, is in celebration of the open road. As a family company we should say that most of all we love to drive. Not much compares to the cool air of the mountains and the throaty roar of an engine coming out of a sharp bend and so we hold true to our company motto: Live, Dream, Drive!
